What sort of therapy is this?
In reflex integration therapy a specific physical movement or other sensory stimulation (touch,
sound) is used to create the neurological changes we are looking for. We go back to the earliest
developmental point when things started to go awry, so the programme can have a positive impact
on many areas of life. It’s not a talking therapy – though we do talk at appointments of course!

How long is the programme?
The full programme may be completed in as little as 6 months, and most clients complete in 12
months. After the free initial consultation, there is a full assessment, a report reading and about 6-9
reviews.

What’s required?
All that’s needed is for the client (with their responsible adult) to complete a simple but very specific movement exercise every day, in a calm environment. This takes about 5 minutes, and can be fitted into their routine whenever suits – e.g. at bedtime or after breakfast.  The exercise should be continued at weekends and during holidays.  No special equipment is required.

How long will it take for me to see any benefit?
This varies from person to person – benefits are sometimes seen after a few weeks! Other times things go more slowly for the first few months but pick up speed in the second half of the programme.

Is there an age limit?
I primarily work with clients from 7 to 25 years for INPP, but all ages can benefit. There are no age restrictions for TLP.

Is there support between appointments?
Absolutely! You can call or email… I’m always happy to talk about how things are going for you.
There are usually ways to address any problems which might arise.

What’s the cost?
The costs per appointment are on the booking page, and the first one is free! It’s good to
remember that review appointments are usually every eight weeks, so you will probably only need
6-9 of them.

Where do the appointments happen?
The initial discussion and the report reading are usually by video call, such as Zoom. The assessment
and other face-to-face appointments will usually be at my St Albans address. The parking is straightforward – outside the house, or in Morrison’s carpark which is a 3-minute walk. If you are
using public transport, we are just over half a mile from St Albans City station and there are regular
buses which stop outside Morrisons.
It will sometimes be possible for me to come to you, which we can discuss at the initial consultation.
